Getting Motivated by Watching Conan
One more Japanese study book has been added to my bookshelf!

Self-licensing

Cinepolis is now showing Detective Conan: Movie 28, “One-Eyed Flashback.”
In fact, a Conan movie with Japanese dubbing, English subtitles, and Indonesian subtitles is always the highest level of difficulty for me.
To watch it without difficulty, I would need to be perfect in at least one skill—Japanese listening, English reading, or Indonesian reading—but I’m not.
Another problem for me is that my subtitle reading speed can’t keep up with the pace of the movie.
Because I’m so busy reading the subtitles, I often can’t really watch the scenes.
That’s why, whenever I come back from watching Conan, I always feel a strong motivation to study Japanese.
However, that motivation only lasts for about 24 hours.
But interestingly, this time I was able to read the subtitles quickly and still had room to catch the nuances of the Japanese.
However, since I had to focus so much on the subtitles, I still couldn’t avoid missing some scenes.
So once again, with my dream of “watching Conan without subtitles” coming alive, I almost bought another Japanese study book just now.
(I already own several Japanese study books that I’ve never even opened.)
