Kushitomo Bali Jimbaran

Since I was in the mood for Japanese food, my two friends in Jimbaran, K and M, took me to Kushitomo.
As the name suggests, it’s a Japanese restaurant.
Located on an uphill road, the second floor looks out over both the hills and the ocean.
Naturally, the tables with the best views were already reserved.

I ordered the pork cutlet curry with a bottle of beer, M got the tuna bowl, and K chose the miso taste pork ramen. We also added an order of takoyaki.
We each gave one another a spoonful of our own dishes.

Honestly, the food didn’t really make me think, “Wow, this is amazing,” or “This is unbelievably good.”

It’s hard to judge the place as a whole based on what we ordered today, but that was my overall impression.

However, the atmosphere and overall vibe of the place were something special.
It wasn’t just a superficial imitation. It truly felt like stepping into a real Japanese izakaya.

That alone may be why the meal with my friends felt more meaningful.
