I’ve heard less salt means a longer life.
Even my tongue needs a break sometimes.

A healthy meal with rice blended with kemangi.

I stopped by Maison Café—the one with the blue roof.
What I liked most was the car wash right next to it.
Personally, I believe every car wash and auto shop should come with a café.
My ‘Nasi Cumi Cabe’ and Iced Americano arrived.
On top of the green rice—clearly signaling “I’m a healthy meal”—were a fried egg and crispy squid.
The bowl looked small, but the portion was surprisingly big.
When I asked the staff about the green rice, she told me it was blended with kemangi (lemon basil).
The Nasi Cumi Cabe tasted bland overall.
I’m used to strong and spicy flavors, so I was really craving sambal and salt— but I didn’t say it out loud.
Eating less salt is supposed to help us live longer.
Recently, I’ve been eating light, so I had just the fried egg and three spoonfuls of rice, then asked to have the rest packed to go.
When the staff brought the packaged food, she gently asked how the meal was. Maybe it was because I had left so much.
I felt a little guilty, so I told her I’d eat it at home later.
Then, she nodded, and her expression softened.
