A few days ago, I bought a persimmon at Tiara Dewata supermarket.
It’s not a fruit I often see in supermarkets, so I picked one up right away.
But the tops of the persimmons on display were all very dry.
I found one that was slightly soft, so I just bought that one.
After keeping it in the fridge for a few days, it had ripened nicely.
When I pulled off the stem and cut it open, bright orange flesh appeared.
It was fully ripe like a soft persimmon, sweet and melting in my mouth.
