Turns out, it was my birthday.

I was bored, so I went shopping at Plaza Renon and stopped by the Starbucks there.
Before paying, I scanned my Starbucks card, and the staff said, ‘You have a birthday cake coupon!’
I picked the cheesecake without thinking twice. If he hadn’t said anything, I wouldn’t have known.
This year’s birthday wasn’t much, but a slice of cake actually made me feel touched.
